Does anyone have any CKD recipes they'd care to share???

Getting bored of eating ground beef with a spoon.

And that dozen eggs yesterday can't be good for my heart.

Read my last post in your thread about this diet and your health. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Oh about the diet. Yeah it's not fun. Sorry. You can always just be fat... ;)

LOL too true mak, read that last post, good stuff!

Once i'm deep in keto i'll make some wraps using some lettuce i guess. Also once i'm deep in keto i'll test out a diet coke and see what it does to me, but neither of this for another week.

Time to go buy some bacon, ground everything, mayo, eggs, cream and cheese.....
oh
and some metamucil

Ricotta Pancakes - Low Carbohydrate Atkins Diet Recipe
3 eggs
1 cup cottage or ricotta cheese
1/4 cup protein isolate (usually 2 scoops)
dash salt
little water
Beat eggs well. Add cottage cheese and beat. Add soy powder and salt. Mix well. Stir in a little water, so the batter is not quite so thick. Heat oil in a frying pan, and when hot, spoon pancake batter in. Spread it around a little so pancakes are not too thick. When bubbly on top, turn, and cook til bottoms are done.
Serves 2 @ 5 carb, 0 fiber, 313 Calories, 23 fat, 22 protein

Ingredients:
2.5 lbs 85% extra lean ground beef
5 large eggs
3.25 cups chopped broccoli (frozen package works good)
dehydrated onion flakes to taste
crushed mustard seed to taste
parsley to taste
garlic powder to taste

Directions:
Mix that shizzy up in a big bowl, and form two loaves out of it. If it's too mushy, let it sit a couple of minutes... then shape it. Pop it in the oven at 350 degrees F for about an hour and a half (Check that shizzy, i'm not positive of the timing), you may want to scoop the fat out half way through cooking. It's also helpful to spray the pan with non stick spray

Anyway, each 4 ounce serving is:
15.6 grams of fat
1.2 grams of "net" carbs
28 grams of protein
~ 260 total calories.

ground beef goes with just about anything. sour creame cheese its endless

so i made that meatloaf recipe tonite for dinner, used ground pork as well as ground beef..... probably the tastiest thing i've eating on keto yet!!!, gotta scape off that moutain of sat. fat that bubbles to the top of the tray in the stove though:)
