OK, so sometime in the near future, I'm getting a new car. I'm keeping my current vehicle, because Goddamnit I do all the work on it myself and it's mine and nobody can have it and suck my dick etc etc....I currently have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with 135k miles on it. It's my first and only vehicle I've ever had, and it's still a beast. It's not going anywhere. I actually just put a brand new hood on and I'm thinking about putting a new engine in with about 50k miles on it for only $675.
I'm leaning towards the Jaguar XKR. It's a poor man's Aston Martin V8 with great performance and it looks sick as shit. The old XKR chassis from around 2005 looked like dickburger, but the newest chassis looks really slick. I've found some used 2009 models with 10-30k miles from $40-60,000. That's not bad at all. Maintenance doesn't look too hard to work on either, I've watched a lot of videos on it.
This won't be a daily driver. I'm still going to drive my blazer until it dies. This is going to be for fun. Imagine the scenario:
date #1 in blazer
if girl is cool, date #2 in XKR
/face melts
