Carb Up Question

Well, in the past I've always done dirty dirty evil carbups that consist of junk food. Well, long gone are those days. I'm getting ready to do my first clean carbup (probably tomorrow or the next day) but I have questions.

I totally get the whole early am cardio/circuit training with the carbup beginning immediate after. Is it necessary to do any more training at the end of the day or to do a more intense than normal workout the following day?

Also, foods. I'm VERY VERY strapped for cash and I only have the following that I can consume on a carbup:
1) Baked Potatoes
2) Oatmeal <-- I know this one is a winner for sure
3) "Evil" Pasta (Tons of it that I've had stashed away for a good while)
4) Chicken (protein)
5) Whey (protein)
(I also have tons of R-ALA :) )

Is this food adequate to split over 6 meals considering that it's only for 1 day every 7-10 days anyway?

Thanks for any help or suggestions. This will be the beginning of my clean refeed days so I'd like to eat better than Pizza and McDonalds :)

for carb up, shouldn't u eat both high gi carbs earlier in day and low gi carbs later in the day. This is the way i have been doing my carb ups. high gi as in sugar cereals with fat free milk, dextrose, low gi as in oatmeal, brown rice, beans, sweet pots and walnuts

That's what I've always thought as well. I'm trying to shoot for about 350 grams of carbs, 250 grams of protein and 60 grams of fat. I'm just slightly unsure on a few minor details. Either way, I guess its better than eating sodium filled subway and Pizza Hut :)

Walnuts are not a low-GI carb food. They are a high-fat food.
