carb countdown (hood)

if im right, im not supposed to be eating dairy products while cutting. I love this stuff for before bed shakes, can I still drink it. Please help, before bed shakes w/ water just blow

Mike

I believe that generally the issue with dairy...milk...is the relatively high sugar content. That's where Carb Countdown comes in. It's got much lower carbs and more prot than regular milk. Makes a nice shake and doesn't blow my low-carb diet.

I buy mine in Harris Teeter.

I found this stuff at Byerly's yesterday but put it back when I saw the price. I'm not paying $1.89 for a liquid yogurt with 100 cals and 13 g protein.

Yea it's a bit expensive for such a small amount. I Finish one off in 3 gulps it seems lol. I picked a few up the other day to try and they taste pretty good. I do get an unpleasant aftertaste though.

It really isn't that expensive is it???? I guess I never really looked, but isn't a half gallon around 3 bucks?? You guys should all stop buying it immidiately. That way, I have more, and the cost will decrease............ Someone calcualte the servings/protein and compare it to a jug of whey, wondering how it compares.....

actually the more people buy it the more they can lower price cause of economies of scale in production and advertising etc?? I think.

carb countdown

$3 half gallon

8 cups = half gallon
1 cup = 12g protein

12 x 8 = 96 g protein per half gallon

or 32g protein per $1

-----------------------

5 lbs. protein powder ~ $35
5 lbs. = 80 scoops
1 scoop = 22 g protein

80 x 22 = 1,760 grams per 5 lbs.

or 50 grams per $1

Nice work bro....... although $35 is on the end (for me anyways), it looks like the tub is a better deal............However, I'll keep both........ ;)
