Hello all first post on here,
Alot of people seem to advocate hitting each bodypart once a week to allow for full recovery and to avoid over-training etc. This is all good as if I've learnt anything in the last year its that less volume + more compound lifts + more rest is paramount (plus a good diet etc)
That said I feel like I could train my muscles again after 4/5 days of working them last - therefore I'm potentially wasting 2 days. So would someone who is natural but using medium volume (10-12 sets for Chest/Back etc) with a decent diet be able to do this?
Rather than doing Chest every Monday, Back every Tuesday etc I'll do Chest five days after I did it last. Ie on Monday then Saturday then Thursday etc....
This would allow for more frequency and over the course of a month. I'll probably only do this for Chest/Back/Legs and leave Delts to an average of once a week. So in a 3 week "cycle" Id hit Chest/Back/Legs 4 times rather than 3.
Any thoughts? Thanks
