Ok makes sense. I don't see hows thats possible thou. the allnatural peanut butter, chicken, broccli all have sodium. where do can you buy meal replacements and protein without sodium and fat?

1. Are you eating canned tuna and chicken? This could pack some serious sodium. Check those meat sources. Make sure none are deli or canned.
2. Drop the shredded wheat at night. When i have carbs (especially cerial) at night i swear i wake up feeling like the damn pillsbury dough boy.

BTW, i'm a big fan of the cytogainer. I've used it for a while now. I don't hear about it much around here. It's good to see another user.

Cyto actually tastes good and low in sugar! All my meat is tyson lean chicken from sams club. It has .5 fat per 4 ounzes. what other meat could I eat instead of canned tuna. I mostly always eat that chicken unless i run out unexpected. When should I stop eating carbs? 6pm? Most of the time I get done workin out at 7-7:30 and eat cream of rice.

The chicken sounds good. I would cut out the canned tuna and replace it with either more chicken or egg whites.

6pm is an ideal carb cutoff time. The late workout is a difficult thing to work around though. Ideally the last meal would be a scoop of casein and a tbsp of peanut butter. But you want some glycogen replenishment post workout.

Tough call.

I'm having the same problem. I workout around 6:30, by the time I'm done it's around 8PM and I'm stuck between just a regular protein shake or a shake plus cream of rice. I've been sticking with the carbs because I know that it's important post workout, but it sucks too because I'm trying to lean out.

Also, you know of any Casein with low sodium? All casein protein powders I've seen are pretty packed with sodium so I've just been sticking to the whey, though I'd definitely switch if I could find a low-sodium Casein. Thanks.
