Bloated at 6% bf! Help please!

I'm having the same problem. I workout around 6:30, by the time I'm done it's around 8PM and I'm stuck between just a regular protein shake or a shake plus cream of rice. I've been sticking with the carbs because I know that it's important post workout, but it sucks too because I'm trying to lean out.

Also, you know of any Casein with low sodium? All casein protein powders I've seen are pretty packed with sodium so I've just been sticking to the whey, though I'd definitely switch if I could find a low-sodium Casein. Thanks.

I don't know about low sodium casein. Most have more sodium by nature i believe. You could use the poor man's casein: whey and peanut butter (or olive oil). The added fat will slow down digestion.

I'm not sure what i'd do if i had to lift late. Hopefully someone with some experience could chime in.

Cut back on the bananas. There is no reason to have more than one a day! That may help a little.

Yeah I stopped the bananas and potatoes Also, eat cream of rice in the morning. Where can I get low sodium whey and casein? Even the one scoop of meal replacement has 1fat gram and some sodium.

Same here my PWO shake is generally 8.30pm - I have that then Ill eat a meat + veg meal abot 9, then casien + NPB + egg whites at about 11pm.

The cutting diet is so specific. Even the all natural peanut butter has has sodium in it? Solution?

I think you are being too fussy bro - Ok, excess sodium may cause a little water retention but low amounts of sodium will be negligible - hell, you can sweat it out in the sauna! Alternatively, mild diuretics.

Keep in mind the end goal - fat loss. a little water retention is irrelevant when you are dropping fat.

+1.

I just thought about something, you said you drink water throughout the day, how much exactly? Is it at least a gallon?

Good point. I aim for 2 gallons a day. Sometimes I just can't get it, sometimes I slightly exceed it. But I definitely get in at least 1.5 gallons. I find that as soon as I drink the water, I piss it right out.

BTW, I'm still leaning out eating the protein+carbs at 8:30PM/9

i dont see a problem taking in semi simple carbs pwo as long as they fit into your macros. get some waxy maize or something that will digest in an hour or so that might help. also i dont think sodium is that big of a deal if your not competing.

Yes, but if he is worried about bloat and is taking an AAS, then sodium may be an issue as he probably wants a very dry look for the summer. I am not competing but I have been trying my best to keep sodium low, and I have definitely seen an improvement in my physique.
