Best Homemade Protein Bar ive made!

This is by far the best protein bar ive made in a while.

I used.

1 whole jar of Smuckers ANPB
2 Cups of Oats
1Cup of AppleSauce
10-16TBS of Honey(depending how u like it and how many sugars u like)
2 cups of EAS 30g/scoop Vanilla Whey


Basically melted PB and Honey together and mixed real good. Then started adding everything else. Save the Apple Sauce for the end when the mixing gets dry. Basically mix evenly so no dry clumps in the bars.

I froze them and then put them in the Fridge.

They were still sticky on top from the Apple Sauce so i sprinkled Cinnomon on top to absorb the access apple sauce.

I put them in a tray and made 14 Bars.

I eat 1 a day in place of where i would eat my ANPB meal. I know its controverial to eat Carbs and Fats. But its a "balanced" bar.

All Healthy Fats.
ALOT OF PROTEIN
Healthy Carbs/Fiber

Taste Great. Plus quick to munch down at work.
For me its a good 10-12 o'clock meal(since i wont ever eat that much carbs late).
 
Figured out Macro's

In Total.

Cals - 6948
Fat - 378g

Carbs - 494g
Fib - 68g

Protein 354g

Individually Speaking for 25 individual pieces
Cals 277
Fat 15g
Carbs 19g
Fib 3g
Protien 15g

Per Bar. I usually will eat 1.5 bars - 2 bars.
Also, i feel very good during my workout. Letme know what ya think.
 
Just my opinion.........I will not consume a "meal bar" with the same or more carbs/fats than protein..............just doesnt make sense to me..Esp. at 300cals.............

Ever tried those Weider 42% Protein bars? First bar ever to have more protein than carbs...

granted, they taste like ass (even worse the orange one) and the quality of the protein leaved much to be desired (apparently there is quite a bit of collagen), but it beats a Burger, I guess

I have some home and keep one in my car, just in case (I just need to remember how they taste to get creative and try to find something else)
