best home equipment to get

guys I have to get some gym equipment. I got a house in the mountains (ranch) and the closest gym is about 3 hours driving , so I need an advice on which gym machine is the most complete right now in the market? the one that makes you work all your muscle groups (lower and upper body) I'm looking to spend about 5 k, thank you.

Start with a power rack package. If you must spend 5k look at a home gym set up from Rogue

go on craigslist or a similar site and find people selling their gym stuff. you can get really good deals that way

for me i want lots of mats to protect your floors, 2 or 3 olympic bars, rubber and regular weights, bench press, squat rack. those are the things that come to mind

Consider stable or horse mats over the usual ones. Cheaper, thicker and better

Get this -

A good squat rack with an olympic bar and around 500 pounds of free weights
A pair of adjustable dumbbells
2 cable stack stands
An adjustable bench

You will be able to perform 95% of exercises with that set up.
