no, never had shark...
between me and the b/f, we can't fit another thing in our freezer because of all the deer meat...but we eat so much of it, that it'll be gone in a year...just in time to fill it up again.
do u have any yummy ways to fix your deer???
I haven't gone in a while & the only reason is cuz I don't feel like putting out the funds to invest in all the necessary gear (guns). I preferred pheasant hunting though.. I'd rather tear through the brush keeping an eye out than sit still & silent waiting. My ex b/f said I was an excellent "Bird Dog" flushing the pheasants out of the brush!
Yes, venison is tasty!
Spatts... I buy ground turkey that is 7% fat - Perdue makes & packages it - one other brand too I see sometimes that I can't recall the name of. I've purchased the 1% fat, but it was sooo DRY - ICK! That's usually the only way I ever have turkey. Is that what you buy?
As for free-range-organic meat, there is a chain of organic grocery stores, "Fresh Fields" here & they sell that type of meat. I never saw a need for it before, but maybe I'll consider buying it for baking turkey breast.
I've had shark & I'm an absolute nut for swordfish on the grill w/ ginger teriyaki marinade -- cuts like BUTTER.. but also not considered "environmentally correct" to eat... (swordfish being overfished, etc.) I also LOOOOOOOVE FL lobster tail -- my own catch! My favorite part is showing the tourists how to tail your lobster at the dock!
Thank God lobster is a little too rich to have often -- else there'd be major problems w/ (me) over-lobstering ....!
Goes good w/ steak on the grill too...................
