Bedtime snack...

Thanks guys...I might have to start trying the turkey before bedtime...maybe it'll help me sleep better...

Question on the turkey... is lunch meat ok?
I thought I read it has additives... like sugar & salt.

I make turkey burgers & this aweome meat loaf with ground turkey, but I don't want to bake a whole bird. No way I'd eat it all before it went bad.

So how do you have your turkey?

Okay, I was going to go on my soap box earlier but decided to spare all of you.

I wouldn't eat TURKEY or lunch meat, unless the turkey is one you or a friend SHOT. When you go buy turkey at the GS, whether in the deli or "whole" in the frozen/refrigerated meats, look at the label. Ask the lady slicing it up behind the counter to show you the label off that lump. You will find turkey in the ingredients, but you will also find dextrose, water, corn syrup, and other sugars and preservatives. Same for chicken and beef.

Lunch meat is even WORSE!

Does that apply to ground turkey? I suppose I can go check the label at home.. but thought I'd ask.

:( I'm so sick of tuna, cottage cheese, & chicken as it is... I can't cut out a protein source!

Hey spatts...
I know this is a little off the subject, but when i'm eating my tuna, is it okay to eat it with a few crackers? say i get the lf ones?

Well, my goal is to lose bf, yes, but I would eat the crackers like before 6pm...is this still a no-no or would that be alright?

I just need a different way to eat my tuna...i can't eat it w/o anything by itself and I don't really know of a bread that is alright to eat it on.

Yes it's fine to have at night and no offense to the tuna lovers, but it tastes a whole lot better. One thing I'll never be able to eat is any sort of fish.

i actually always eat cottage cheese for my last meal every night. doesnt taste too bad either:)

i like it cause its light and i dont feel so full as if i ate meat. eeeeewwwwwwww

spatts -- thx for the turley info . i didnt know that..
