thanks for replying so fast bigandy! yes thats whattime I wake up 10am but once I get back to school I'll be getting up around 7am. but I guess I could try getting up at 8am for the rest of the summer...and hows a chicken breastt instead of tuna for dinner I hate tuna?!

really whats wrong with having a protein shake an hour or 2 before bed?

I'm assuming that your powder is whey.

Protein powder is utilised by the body very quickly. Basically, it is absorbed very quickly. Casein(cheese) is absorbed very slowly in the body allowing for a longer amino acid concentration in the body.

Basically, you'll have more protein in the body for a longer time when you go to bed.

Whey is not as amazing as the supp companies would have you beleive. It has it's advantages, high Bcaa content and a SHORT anabolic spike(great for post workout.), but it is not an ideal protein before bed.

Stiffler, have you reformulated your diet yet?
