All that, and you didn't even get us started Screwball!

I'm going to lift in the Open 242 class. I'll be shotting for a 405 bench, 550+ deadlift, and 550+ squat. I'll be pissed at anything less than 1500.

My brother will lift in the 181 Junior class. He will be shooting for around 365 bench or so, probably 450 squat, and a 500+ deadlift.

Dave will have to tell you his numbers a little more, and what his brother is shooting for, but as his workout partner, I think his numbers will speak for themselves. He should lift in the 308s (open), and be around 550+ bench, 750+ squat?, and 700 deadlift. I'm sure those numbers will be dialed in alot more in the next few weeks as he gets in his new Karin double denim and the frantz double poly suit.

Hopefully women's open, 181, 3 lift. I will decline guessing at my numbers, but I would like to crack 1000.
 
Well, if i post the numbers Animalmass says, it would be a great day for sure. I'll really have to learn my equipment before I take a guess at my numbers. I've never used a squat suit or a denim shirt. I'm just pumped to do a full meet and see everyone. I weigh about 290 now, so unless i learn some secret about dropping 15 pounds and gaining it back in 24 hours I'll be in the 308's.

If my little brother, who is 18, lifts, he'll for sure pull well into the 700's. If he doesn't lift, he will be there to help us with equipment and hand offs.
 
275 OPEN....Three Lift....No Projections...would like to break 1700 Total.
 
220 Men's open. Would prefer the 114 teen women's but they won't let me lift there.

Bench only. Not man enough for a full meet yet.

Existing state record at 220 is 501. Plan on opening at 505, then going for around 530, and then 550 or so on a 3rd if I still have anything left in the tank.

You 3 lift guys have my respect, but not my participation, at least not yet. This spring for sure I will.

I have to ask Bench a question.

I know your lifts fairly well and I have to ask why do you continue to open at such a high weight. No doubt you have it in you but if my memory serves me correct you did this in the last few meets you were in and have yet to hit all 3 lifts.

Why not smoke 475, hit 505 (for your record) and 525 (if you have anything left).

Just my humble opinion.

Well I have not got 3 lifts in in a while, true, but I really want to break the record on my opener. Vanity.

I have decided I will not open under 500 anymore. I was afraid of 500 for a while and now that I have hit it, I want to make it know I am no longer in fear of it, it should be in fear of me. And Vanity.

Thanks Mac for your concern, and it is a smart idea, but I basically went 2 for 3 with a 500 and 525 last meet, and if the record was not on the line for this one, I feel strong enough to open at 525 at this next one, but am lowering it down to just enough to break the record before going for broke on my 2nd and 3rd attempts.

You know better than anyone on this board how hard headed I am, so I don't think you will be at all surprised that I am doing it this way. Sorry, bro, but I gotta be me. (Short, balding, hard headed, . . . wait a tic, being me sucks!!!)

Well, bad news for me...

I slipped a disc in my back on Tuesday while deadlifting. (For more info on how it happened, see the Springfield Crew Numbers)

So I am up in the air for doing the full meet. I can still bench. So as a worst case scenario, I would do bench only.

However, I'm going to rehab, and rehab this thing so that hopefully I'll be able to do the full thing.
