Well I am around 6'3", and I squat on a 14.5 on DE day. So the 9.5 was LOW. Lower than I should have been working on. Plus the fact that I moved my feet way in also increased the range of motion. Just one of those days where I wanted to see what would happen.

And yeah the manta ray sucks...but it served its purpose. It changed the dynamic of the lift and added variety to training....which is what I wanted.
 
I need to find a way to use that reverse hyper machine. It could really pull my numbers up alot. Damn thing DIGS into my hips. :(

im 5'7... so you squatting on a 9.5" box would be like me touching my ass to the ground... very impressive.
 
I have very sharp hip bones that are RIGHT at the surface. That machine leaves me with a blue circle on each side. :(

Perhaps some foam padding. Could pick some up at a craft store. Maybe a little less give...

3 For 3...PR's for everyone. Seems like that visit from the Okie Crew was just the thing to get us moving again. Can't wait to train with them again. We followed the Reverse Bands up with the "magic lockout move" that Benchmonster showed us...and everyone used more weight. So the gym is headed in the right direction.
