Army Physical Fitness Test - Took One Today

When I worked for an Army agency in Alexandria we always invited our civilian employees out to take the test, and many of them did quite well.

I'd be down for a pound for sure.

We have agency police here that have to do this test that involves running up like 7 stories or more in full gear, dragging a dummy like 50 feet, and then giving it CPR. I think the CPR used to be a shooting test. Anyway, I'd love to try that one and even incorporated running up the last 5 stories as part of my workout a while back when recovering from my OTHER elbow surgery.
 
Took my semi-annual test a few weeks ago. Not too bad for a 45yr old, my weight (8lbs) and bodyfat (1.5%) are down since the last one, but my results are about the same. The conditions sucked, it was cold (58 deg F), windy and raining, but it was fun. Looking to drop a full minute off of my run for April 07.

Pushups 2 min: 67 reps/100 pts
Situps 2 min: 75 reps/100 pts
2 mile run: 17:17 min/71 pts

Total score: 271 out of possible 300. 270 and above is considered excellent.
 
Spring is here, time for my semi-annual test. I take it in two weeks.

270 and above is a grade of excellent. 300 is the max.

This just in: Latest Army Physical Fitness Test taken today:

Test = maximum pushups in 2 min, followed by maximum situps in 2 min, followed by a 2 mile run.

Results: 60 pushups, 66 situps, 17:53 2 mile run. Weight 227.

*Note - I entered the 47-51 age bracket so now I only have to do 60 pushups and 66 situps to max, so that is where I stopped. My run time continues to slow down, but I got 73 out of a possible 100 points in that event.

Total Score: 273 out of 300. :dance2:
