Are all Keto sticks the same?

Shrebly

I have been using the Bayer brand [50 strips, $11.00] and got some nice results from them BUT had to do them with the first dip of the day. Anything after that showed the 60 - 80 range when the first dip showed high end [120 - 140].

Anyone know of any other brands that give good results?

I don't think it makes any difference what brand you use--if you're in ketosis, you're in ketosis. If you're showing in the dark purple, drink more water.

Shel - that makes sense.

Ketones are gonna pile up duiring the night as there is no activity to burn the ketones for energy....during the day the ketones are used up.....

No Chetosticks are a different story.

btw - drinking more water will make it harder to read thrace amounts.

If I stay away from soda [diet] and iced tea during the day I still get 60 - 90 on the stick. I think I ran into some trouble when I went 28 days with no carbs [except eggs and 2 oz of cottage cheese]. I had a moderate cheat day - a little rice, some kettle chips, midget size candy bar. Overall I know that if I go hog wild I will have trouble getting back on.

As it stands now I FEEL the difference. The scale could say I lost 20 pounds but the fact is - if you don't feel it then it doesn't seem like its working.

I now hate chicken no matter how it is cooked and bacon is climbing on my hate list. Looks like it's jerky city for me for a while [homemade].
