anybody own an italian greyhound dog?

Hesitate to recomend a breeder, (Ocala and one in Fort Meyers) cause they all have a habit of not volunteering info about obvious defects like congenital (red) mainge and males with one nut etc.
Still they are worth looking into, good if you have a small yard for them
to do dounuts in. Get one of those dog magazines in pet store and look at adds in back. Plan early, some will send a photo of dogs, probably won't/shouldn't realease before 7 weeks, I think 8-9 weeks is ideal, not sure.
If they haul ass, no sense yelling or chasing after them, no way will you corner or catch em. Better off staying with reward instead of punishment, and when they start running away from you, best to make it a game and run in the opposite direction so they turn around and catch up to you.
Man, you had to start this thread, now I miss those innocent beasts.

When mine was a puppy I had him on one of those retractable leashes. He was at the full length (15ft) and I accidentally dropped the leash.

When he saw the leash retracting towards him he took off and the leash kept chasing him.. He didn't stop until there was nowhere left to go.. then finally the leash stopped.
