Spatts. There were a lot of men who pushed themselves JUST to make sure that they beat her on a few events. Cheese was actually a little scared there for a while...
brian747478 might have won the 'Most Improved' Award for sure... This guy has come a long way in a short period of time. I have known him since 1996 and we trained together for 4 years I believe. He has improved in EVERY aspect of strongman...and he is thick as can be. He is in better shape, MUCH stronger, and MUCH thicker. Impressive!!!!
Someone lit a fire under his tail on the stones...wow!!!
Exodus...wow man...finally got to meet you. I was really shocked to see how big that you really are. You definately have a future in any sort of strength sport that you so choose. A little work in any direction and you could be good. Do you ever stop smiling???
Of course...Cheese and Hannibal had to race her... (cough's...she blew them away!!!).
Then...Project decided to race Cheese. Poor Cheese. My mother then told Cheese that she would get my father out of the house so he can race him...(my father walks with a cane)
For anyone who has never been involved in Strongman...THIS is what Strongman is all about. It is about fun, laughter, and friendships. It is about watching someone do something and NEVER quit...and it makes you get up out of your seat and yell for them. Size doesn't matter and neither does strength level...intensity, desire, and heart matter most.
I want to say thanks to everyone who was a part of the Kentucky Training Day. I truly hope that there are many more to come and the friendships continue to grow as much as the knowledge is shared.
I will post video clips in a day or two as I am still waiting for a few more clips to arrive.
Truely amazing! I would love to participate in that one day. Congratulations to everyone that went for the intense training day and that set new PR's. Hope you guys(and girls ) had fun!
