Another fallen soldier due to drugs

I hope I never have to deal with the things that i have dealt with this past week. 20 of us went to Acapulco to have a good time, lay in the sun, and party at the coolest clubs in the world-19 of us came back. This is for all you bros who party too hard and think that it will never happen to them.
A buddy of mine drank all day and all night with no food in his system for 4 days straight. I can guarantee he did a few bumps here and there. One night after happy hour he started to get chest pains. We called the hotel doctor and he said to bring him to the local hospital. He was so bad that he was medivacked to Texas where he was treated for dehyradtion. He wouldnt tell the docs he has been rolling or doing yae because he didn't want to get in trouble, all he said was alcohol. Two days later i get a call saying he died. Man, what a fucking tragedy. 21 years old, life was in his hands with so much potential.
I just wanted to post this to share this horrific tragedy with you bros because i am sure you have done the same. Just be careful if you are going to do these things and always make sure you have a friend that knows when youve had too much.

RIP. BDR March12 1982-March19 2003

im confused...was this from just heavy drinking or was he juicing too

either way a tragedy

From the original post it sounds like it was:

Alcohol
MDMA / Ecstasy
and Cocaine

No mention of AAS.

That combo for four days straight can do it... even to a healthy 21 year old.

Sorry to hear it...

sorry to hear bro, there are a lot of people who take it a little far and don't even realize they are doing it to themselves, i got like that when i was a bit younger and my friends knew enough to stop my ass, did any of his friends not say anything or try and stop him during four days? not condemning anyone, im sure he was a hard head like all 21 yr olds, i feel for his friends and family

I was in acapulco and heard about this as well. Scary thing is that it could have happened to any of us. We were all drinking all day, bumping whatever and dancing all night without replenshing ourselves. It's scary as hell to think about and I am sorry that someone you knew fell victim to this tragedy. As soon as I heard about that nothing went up my nose.

I can only empathize with the friend. Sorry to hear about the loss of another young man, with the potential of a great life.

Each time I hear about things like this it is a wake up call. For all of us. If you think that you have problems, guess again.

Death is permanent...you don't wake back up!
