A relatively novel way to aquire some gear would be to go the pound and acquire several dogs in a similar condition, then return the dogs after going to see the Vet.
Debu - ease up - we are just joking. I was actually going to share MY ox cycle with her and that stuff is pricey, still may if the EQ doesn't do what I want it to do.
She is moving noticeably better today, more active which the vet said would happen.

I'm sorry, I can't tell when people are joking or serious. I'm a total animal advocate...I'm SOOOO glad there are folks like you that would go the extra length to help heal her! You're an
Temple... what kind of vet just gives you a syringe full of EQ and lets you walk out with it. he just gave you one syringe and that was it??? sisnt tell you how much to give or how often??? just said come back if you need more??? Last I heard winstrol was not off the market either vets are LOADED with it.Im not sure but I know winstrol is still around where I am. what have they tried giving to your dog for the sores?? is it from an allergy?? fungal?
give me the run down.... I MAY just be able to suggest something for the poor little pooch.
KB - he said to give it all to her. He assumed that if I had any questions that I woud ask and he was tired, had been up all night doing c-sections. To understand how this works here you have to understand where I live. I have seen the vet and the retired pharmacist both stitching PEOPLE up when the injury isn't so bad. We all have a cupboard full of vaccine and one of the first thing every child learns is that when you vaccinate for erysiplus (sp) you have to be very careful because Mrs. so and so got stuck with an erysip needle 20 years ago and died from it.
Are you getting the picture????
Now for the dog - she is 13 years old and insists on laying on the hardest surface she can find. Last summer the joints on her front legs became swollen which we treated with antibiotics and they drained and formed sores that would not heal. We have been treating since that time with Animax ointment and wraps plus amoxicillin. They would improve only to get bad again. We are now using the EQ/animax/wraps plus tetracycline or erythromiacin - can't remember which it is. Any suggestion you have would be appreciated. Also have her on Rymadil for arthritis.
We are down to the last ditch effort with this - I love her to much to watch her be miserable. I am glad my husband is strong enough to do what needs to be done if the time comes because I couldn't.
