Someone please ease my mind here cuz im gonna go crazy. I went from probably like 16% body fat now i just got my bf tested and i have 8%, im about 5'5 and 175 lbs but still u cant see my abs and i dont even really look ripped except for my legs and my forearms which have veins stickin out all over the place. BTW don't call me a newb cuz this is like my 4th account cuz they keep cutting them off lol. Anyways so yeah, any suggestions? Could this be a hell of a lot of water retention? I'm not too keen on cutting out carbs because i dont want to lose muscle. i just started using meta-cell creating powder which is supposedly pretty good but thats not why im retaining water because i was before i started taking that. so anyways yeah! lil input would be awesome

Bro, i was in your same situation 4 years ago...i was at 7%. Sure from far away you could tell i had some abs, but not that ripped 6 pack look either. I dropped like a good 20 lbs of fat too. Unfortunately, you gotta make a choice. Skinny or big, but in the middle? you want ripped abs with alotta muscle. Your average person is gonna need juice. 4 years later, here I am, and now im going to do things right. I will hit a nice dbol / test cycle, and drop caloires like crazy. Taking AS will be the only way to spare muscle and drop all that weight at the same time, if you don't take AS, it will be a while. You'll eventually learn what works for you.

cut the freaking creatine. its function is to make your muscles HOLD WATER, man.

there are other things that you might want to drop or cut back on as they have an affinity to hold onto water -- salt, milk, carbs. Everyone is different, so you have to find out what works for you.

the only other advice i can give you is to start doing weighted abdominal exercises. if you're only doing crunches, you might need to go heavier.

also take into account the fact that you are 5'5... 14 pounds of fat doesn't have that much space to spread out and disperse on a smaller frame, than say someone that was 175lbs, 8% @6'1

superrice is bang on,Im 5'6 and my bf looks higher then someone who has the same bf due to where it spreads out on my short frame

Ok that sucks... Looks like im gonna be having to drop like 4 more % lol....damn, anybody else my hight that actually is ripped here? if so whats ur bf %? I got tested with calipers, so i know its pretty accurate

Remember..everybody is different. Some people carry fat well, others do not and have to get leaner to look ripped. It just takes time. I would like to see your nutrition... That is always the culprit - i don't care what anybody says i will always believe this is so. Really its all a matter of what you want. If you want to be lean and muscular - you have to live your life eating and training to achieve this goal. Also, its hard to have others assist you if you don't put up some nutrition information. Help us to help you, take care. - QSS

K, this is what I have eaten so far today

meal 1- a slab of very lean roast been, 25g of protein, bout 1 g of fat
meal 2- powerbar protein bar - 25g of protein, 30g of carbs
meal 3- Heavy on Ham and turkey sandwich w/ a slice of jalepeno cheese, veggies and mustard on wholewheat bread
meal 4- half a plate of pasta noodles w/ steak and tomato sauce
meal 5 will be after the gym tonight, a 6 inch sub from subway, ham and chicken on honey oat bread w/ bbq sauce, approx 40g of protein, 50 g of carbs and 10 g of fat.

This is my every day eating style. I don't eat too much at once, hardly ever over 500 calories a meal but no less than 5 meals a day

yeah, in my experience, that would not be enough (well, depends how big the roast beef and bowl pasta is). you're supposed to be getting at least your bodyweight in grams of protein, since you're bulking, probably more, and IMO, the powerbar isn't a meal. at least have some milk with that.

my experience with powerbars are that they are just snacks, sugar bars, like oh henry. never believed in power bars, never will. for energy, i'll go with a bag of skittles or sour keys (hey, i'm still a kid hah), and around half a carton of tropicana.

basically all i'm saying is that the powerbar isn't a meal.
