Has his facial structure/eye color changed that much recently or is it just the camera angle/contacts? I'd let his left ear asymmetry slide since the general inner shape is very similar, but the rest is definitely a stretch.

But this report flies in the face of the evidence at the scene and the vast number of police photos taken.

From the above photo you can clearly see he had striped off his armor on the way to his vehicle and in fact, the AR-15 was found just inches outside the exit door, meaning he could not have still had it when the cops found him unless they let him walk back the 30 or so feet to the door to lay the weapon down there.

...so, how did they find him "out of it" in his car with all his weapons/gear, yet, the pictures clearly show weapons gear scattered all over the ground, and a bloody trail down to the other end of the theater punctuated with another gas mask. No blood trail back to his car though?

Im guessing the black and white is a bit stretch plus smiling will cause nostril flare extenuating the exaggeration of the stretched photo
his eyes aren't brown in what Im guessing is a student ID but again, bad photography is going to make them darker than they are...the ear is simply an angle and almost NO one is symmetrical..I have one ear that sticks out more then the other but way more subtle than that..

and anyone is surprised the news got the particulars wrong?

the occupy photo doesn't look even close to the same but whos to say its a. accurately reported b. the same James Holmes... its not exactly a strange name

Two gas masks, two sets of SWAT gear, he dropped weapons on the way out but somehow still had them on him when they found him drugged up in his car (what, was he "in shock" from the crime he committed?). Why the hell would he leave a blood trail all the way down to the other end of the theater and around the corner, then double back to his car with no trace of blood on the way.

If the current hodgepodge assessment is the best we can get then people would have to be pretty damn gullible or simply not give a shit to think it's all a cut and dried case.

Those are interesting "facts" you present, but are they facts? Alex Jones and the conspiracy web sites you link are not convincing to me. I have heard nothing about this stuff, and I know the cops are pretty much keeping a lid on all the facts of the case to preserve the evidence. Googling this info about 2 gas masks and blood trails just leads to more whackjob web sites. Are there any real media outlets reporting on any of this?
