i'm a real estate agent who is always on the go. i've been eating and training right for a year now. previously i have been eating balance bars, power bars etc.. for my 10am and 4 pm meals. they are good for protein but also heavy on the sugar. sometimes I'll take boiled egg whites and a peice of fruit(apple, bannana) for the meal but that doesnt always happen. now my dilema is that i'm on this routine and i need to eat at these times. missing a meal sux, especially when i start with the gear.

what can you guys recommend that is easy to carry, cook, buy & eat for being on the go.

Beef Jerky, dry roasted/unsalted almonds, canned tuna...really anything so long as you plan it out in advance, just bring a mini-cooler with you

okay the tuna would work with the packets they have now, what carb would you add with it?

beef jerky done that too, but the sodium is off the scale.

I bring microwaved sweet potatoes in tin foil (which are quick/easy) and one-minute oats/protein powder/flax meal in a shaker bottle - just add water and you're good to go
