Your arms - What cycle made them GROW!

Thats true, When I was about that age, since I didnt have a weight set or anything, just weights, I would set them on my back and do pushups. It really helped.
 
Yes, my arms get sore after a workout.

Yes, I do feel the muscle contracting during the workout.
My pumps are amazing, but they do not want to grow.
For the moment my split looks like this:
Mon: Back, trapz
Tuesday: Chest, shoulders
Wedn: Off
Thu: Legs, calfs, abs
Friday: Biceps/triceps 3 excersices per musclegroup. Total sets per muscle group: 8sets. Reps around 6-10.
Cals: 1500cals over my maintenance calorie intake.
Protein: 350g per day
Bodyweight: 191lb, 8.2%, 6"
 
C1, that was an ignorant post, man. So, do you suggest only working arms and chest? Are you saying that years of anecdotal and empirical data showing that sqauats and Dl's(compound stuff) raise Gh and test levels and spur overall body growth are wrong?

I agree fully w/ Hansz... don't forget the compound stuff... karma to you buddy.

Of course you need to work you arms, thats given, no one here is telling him not too. The just fo the comments about working legs is a huge issue so many lifters overlook. I see guys day in and day out who never work legs and when they do its pathetic. They wonder why thier upper body just doesnt grow. C1, if you think working your legs is not important in upper body development, show me someone with piss poor leg development and the upper body of a champoin and I will fund your next cycle.

There is a difference between big and massive. I specifically stated the upper body of a champion. Im not saying you cant make progress without working your legs, but what is being siad is you wont accomplish without working your legs what you can if you do work them.
 
C1, im not one to flame, but that post was pretty ignorant, it has been proven that working lower body, helps upper body grow more. Stimulates growth, go read some articles and studies on weight training. I love seeing guys who are big up top and small on bottom, they would be much happier and see better gains if they would work their lower body, but girls just care about how big your UPPER body is right? Oh yea, silly me...

Look at this guy's post and compare to the posts made by Zyg, solidspine, other bros... Now you get an idea why I learned to ignore some of the dudes over here at EF and respect bros that don't mind to give a hand when you are down...
Arms are my wikest link for now as well, but hell, bro you'll get there. I dedicate one day just to my arms. Mondays are the day... I just hit them hard... And eat that day as no other day in the week... Works for me...

besides, if youre trying to gain weight, its a lot easier to pack pounds on legs and ass than the smaller muscle groups in the upper body...and just like its been said, your upper body will follow suit. :D
Im gonna go work my legs again :fro:
