Gladtobealive,
You seem like a very nice guy, caring for and loving your family...you just come across as a geniunely likeable guy. And...like many of us here...you are STUBBORN! This is often a good trait, and it helps us to push through when the going gets tough. But you need to realize..there is some tough love on this thread...this place is a treasure trove of knowledge and experience, so when people tell you that you need to totally change your training routine, it is only because it is the absolute truth! Hitting every muscle group individually, and from multiple angles is not only unnecessary, it is even counter-productive, especially at this point. Heavy, compound exercises are where its at!
Let me say that again: HEAVY COMPOUND EXERCISES!!!
I am sure your current routine is a tough one, but that doesn't make it a good one.
Please listen to the good brothers on this thread and on this forum, and please, please consider doing a programs like has been suggested, ie: a 5x5, or at least something that is mostly based on (here it comes again...) HEAVY COMPOUND EXERCISES!!! If you feel you really must add a bit (a little bit!) of extra work on a particular part you want to bring up, that is likely going to be fine, but what you are doing now is no good.
You came here for advice, but you seem resistant to accepting the best advice given in this thread. It happens a lot here, and I mostly ignore people that do it, but...I don't know...something about your story and your posts makes me think you are a really good guy, so I am trying to convince you to please listen to the advice given here. You can get great advice on nutrition, drugs, etc here....but you really really need to put your ego on the shelf (hard for many of us at times, myself included) and accept the advice on your training also.
You have the work ethic to go far, but I would hate to see you waste that hard work on an unproductive routine.
Bottom line: change your training! CHANGE IT!
