Work out in Vegas?

TotalPecs

I'm heading to Vegas on Sunday for 7 days for fun and the USA show.

Any suggestions for where to put in some workouts?

I've been to the Gold's on Tropicana. Are there any old-fashioned hardcore gyms in Sin City? Any recommendations on the other Gold's sites?

And where is it easiest to get lucky?

face it....
you aint gonna work out didley!!

you'll be busy gambling and drinking like a camel after a 2 month excursion.

you'll be looking for cheap $100 hookers with wigs on!

There's a gym on Maryland and Sahara that's probably the most magnificant facility I have ever seen. It's a $5 cab ride from the strip and week passes were $30.

I would also like to know any good gyms near where the USAs are held? Ive been to World gym, it was nice. Been to Vegas several times with the Air Force, but that was before I got serious about bodybuilding. So i dont know my way around too good since I was usally in a drunken stuper for the whole two weeks.

Most gyms in Vegas are good. There isn't any one gym that stands out from the rest. The one Andy13 referred to is a Las Vegas Athletic Club. I think it is the closest gym to the strip. If you are staying at one of the big hotels you should think about working out there. They will have a decent workout facility, at least enough to get you through the week.

What hotel are you going to stay at?

Thanks for the help, guys!

I'll be staying at the Tropicana. I hear they have a "Fitness Facility" but know nothing about it. I don't need much; some free weights and a squat rack and I'll do fine. (Former competitive bodybuilder here; currently looking to get back into some powerlifting competitions - Masters Class.)

Went online to find info about the Las Vegas Athletic Club. Looks to be within walking distance; is that right?

Any Powerhouse Gyms in Vegas? Found a number of Golds in the area through their website.

And while I'm at it, I plan on a minimum of one buffet (preferably two) everyday I'm there. What are your recommendations? While I'm generally known for being tighter than bark on a tree, on vacation I'm more interested in quality and the overall experience (as opposed to just considering the cost).

Again, thanks for the direction!

Bro, I will be there as well and I am just going to hit Golds or a close 24 hour fitness.

As for buffet's, you HAVE to hit the one at the Rio. It is just of the strip by a few mins and a cab will take you. Hands down the best buffet in Vegas.

Peace

The LVAC is not within walking distance to your hotel. Not even close. It will be about a $10 cab ride one way. There won't be any gym close enough for you to walk to. The Trop is a little older but will probably have enough of a gym to get you by.

As for the buffet the Rio is the place. Any more questions about Vegas let me know.
