On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being perfect, give yourself an honest rating on the following:

Diet


Cardio


Training
 
Question....cardio. Do you mean capacity? Do we do it regularly? Do we feel like we do it with enough intensity?

For cardio, everyone is different, so score it based on your particular needs.....if you opnly need to hit hit 20 minutes 3x pewr week...then score it based on that.....if you need 45 min 4 times per week...score it on that.

Base it on individual needs.

SO....FC gets

Diet - 70% = 0.7

Cardio - 60% - 0.6

Training - 90% - 0.9


......now - keep in mind I know this exagerates lower numbers...but .7 times .6 times .9 = .378 = 38% overall effort.....


I know a more "accurate" representation would be to average the numbers - which would total 73% overall effort.....but you get the idea of the impact slacking on just one of the three parameters will cause.

I do make unwise carb choices (for example: white or red taters instead of sweet);

I make sure I do my cardio AT least 3xs a week (between 30-45 minutes) but given my sticking point lately, I am sure it needs to be either more often or longer in duration or with more intensity however I needed to give sprints a rest as my knees and shins have been killing me (did I ever mention how much I dislike cardio);

Training -- LOVE IT -- could lift everyday but know that is not good for me either.

my prob is damn alcohol!!! if only vodka martinis had protein in them-- Id be a "10"....LOL (j/k!)
 
cardio: 9 I do 60min low intensity daily and 20 min HIIT 3Xwk try to do a 10 mile hike every other w.e. I couldn't handle any more cardio.



Training: 9, this I love!




diet: 6, I take at least one free meal on w.e. and I could eat cleaner through the week .


theres always room for improvement in all areas
 
Ok corn I'll bite.

Now I am a good girl, have competed so am very capable of staying the course! To be honest these things are the easiest to deal with in my life right now. If I were pre contest the diet would be a 10. I do have goodies just at certain times so there fore a 9.-valerie

diet=9

cardio=10

training=10
 
Diet: 9 I have my moments.

Cardio (in the gym): 9 When my back cooperates, I hit it hard and consistently.

Cardio (other): I'm a 10! ;)

Lifting: 10 It really is my savior.
