why, as sex becomes more dangerous to have, do people become more sexually active and open about it?

why is it that people get down alot more often and openly now that it actually kills you to do so?

do u think that maybe it was always like this and the church just used the bible to keep everyone hushhush about it, but really its always been like this?

interesting thoughts. i think stds have spread a lot more in the last 30 years or so, not sure why.

some Christians believe stds are a punishment sent down on man by God. Although I'm not if I believe this.

i think people used to have sex a lot in the old days too, but we just didnt hear about it as much, because it was taboo.

Syphilis outbreaks used to kill thousands of people. Someone had to be humping...lol. The world just talks about it more now.

I just read a flyer left on my car at the gym last night, that had data and statistics on std's and infectious diseases in the US. it was crazy!!
HIV was: 1 in 7, hepititis B: 1 in 60, hepititis C: 1 in 4, TB was 1 in 7 too (?)
HPV: 1 in 4, herpes simplexes: 1 in 2... it went on but those stood out to me.... seems kinda high.

It seemed high, because it was high.

More people have hep b than have HIV....

I am a paramedic in a city with an alarmingly high rate of hep. C .......... prolly because of the meth.

I thought so too. vaccination for the hepitits B virus have cut it down. It stated these are estimates and half of the people carrying these diseases dont even know.
