Who has set a Goal and reached it?

Hello, I think this could help alot of people who don't know what there doing or are having trouble losing weight and adding muscle.

If you were fat and you set a goal to lose all that weight and get buff. Either or. Please post what weight you started at, what diet you used, and how long it took and how you ended up.

I think this would be great for people to see on the success stories and to give them hope and just to compare and see where people are coming from.

Please participate. I am currently in my second week of my new program. I will update my progress. thanks......
 
I have set many goals and achieved them. 3 years ago, I weighed 190lbs. My goal was 200lbs, after reaching that, my goal was 215lbs, after reaching that, my goal was 230lbs, I said I was finished after that and just wanted to maintain, but then I realized with no goals my motivation was dwindling, so I wanted to be 245lbs, and so I reached that as well. My current goal is 270-275lbs in the next 3 months, I'm currently 255lbs. I have set other smaller goals over the years as well such as arms size and chest size. Fortunatelely my legs have always grown easily so they were never a problem. I have gained 65lbs in the last 3 years which makes me more motivated than ever. I know what it takes to make my body grow. It took a few years to get it all down, but I have it now.
 
Mine was to hit 250 lbs and bench 405. I did both, but 250 was still way too small:) 275 will be next and I'd like to dead 600lbs(currently 515)
 
This one too. Been trying to strengthen my shoulders, erectors, hams, and calves...

you guys are way heavy. hehe. make me feel like lunch. contest prep is my next goal.

good hams bfold. guess flipping those toyota tires worked. :D

i'm sitting about 5-8 lbs away from contest shape now. ive never competed so this will be an acheivement in itself. i'll have to get some pics done one of these nights when the gym is empty and put them up on here. main thing is im HUNGRY!!!
 
Ever look at yourself and just pick yourself apart? Even though I really don't mind much being a little fat...I see that little spot around my belly and my little love handles...and wish that they weren't there. Not for sure that I want them gone bad enough to diet...haha...but I want them gone.

i want to bench at least 400 within 2 years. but i don't think i'll ever get to 250. that would be hyoooge at 5'8".
