Which running training is the most anabolic?

Well...i would assume sprinting would be the most...
But for how long? what distances..?
Rest periods...

BTW...i am an offensive lineman for a university football team so i want to be quick but be able to put on a little mass meanwhile..

Any ideas?
 
I believe someone used 100m sprints with 1 minutes rests in between, 5 sets of these, with a one track lap as a warmup and cool-down. Was this Suston? Hmmm...
 
sprinting definatly.
100 yard sprints, 1 minut resting period between sprints, intime decrease it to 30 seconds. do 10 sprints. sprint 3 times a week at least.
 
Start sprinting one or two times a week to make sure you don't put sudden stress on your tibilias anterior (muscle around shins). Do toe raises as well (plant heels on a 4" high block, hang front half of foot over edge and aim to the sky, slowly descending toes) to strengthen the tibilias'.
 
Short, powerful sprints will help with adding mass to your legs, especially the quads. I would perform them once or twice a week as an alternative to your regular leg workout.

Still though, nothing beats a regular workout of full squats for adding on thigh mass!
