when you think you have the perfect diet , thing again .

whenever I think I have the perfect diet . I realize that there are so many details to improve .

1) I am actually eating like 10 g of fat per day and ALL good fats . I will bump my fat intake to 30 g per day and out of those 30 g I will eat 10 g saturated fats and 20 g , good fats . We need a small amount of saturated fats to keep testosterone production in check .

2) I was eating 8 g fiber a day . We should use 15 g every 1.000 calories . Since I am eating 2000 calories a day , I would need 30 g .

3) I am not eating any eggs white . I don't because I think it is a hassle, only 3 g protein in each egg white , too low . BUT its high absorption rate make it a MUST .I will eat at least 10 egg whites a day .

4) Using whey protein before going to sleep , it digests in 2 hours , this means you would start losing muscle after 2 hours sleeping . Althought I do take fish oil with the whey before going to bed which slows down the absorption , it is not the best thing to do . From now on , I am gonna stick to CASEIN PROTEIN before going to sleep , casein digests slowly and will keep delivering protein to your muscles for at least 6 hours .

I thought I would share my diet and my results with you guys .

3 weeks into this diet and I slashed 10 pounds of fat while actually adding inches to my arms.

10:30 - Sanduich fat free cheese , low fat slices of turkey breast , 2 slices whole wheat bread .

- Weight training

12:30 - Post workout shake - 2 scoops whey + 2 1/2 tablesspoon of honey .

2:30 - whole wheat pasta + chicken breast

5:00 - 2 scoops whey protein + fish oils

- CARDIO ( around 7:00 pm )

8:00 - sanduich fat free cheese , low fat slices of turkey breast , 2 slices whole wheat bread

11:30 - 2 scoops whey protein + fish oils

1900 calories , 270 g protein , 170 g carbs , 10 g fat .

My BMR is 2.500 cals , so that is 600 less . Plus what I burn on the gym .

Notice that when I do my cardio , I have not ingest any carbs for the past 5 hours , meaning that my glycogen levels are low , which helps burning the fat .

Products using - vit C , Vit E , Pure CEE , T-rex , Levorex , YES .

What you guys think of this cutting diet and the details that I mentioned ?

Victor

I think you're eating way too much processed crap. Too much whey, eat real food. Pasta, bread, cheese, sliced sandwich meat, yuk, yuk, yuk. Where are your veggies? I realize you're getting results with this diet, but you could definitely do much better.

Basically everything you said is crap, that's what I think :).

(And no I didn't look at your diet or training, just the points you mentioned at the top.)

I kinda agree with you .Lack of veggies may be the only downside on this diet . I would need the veggies for vitamins minerals and fiber . but I do HATE VEGGIES , so I am not going to force them every day and puke after I eat it . So I get my vitamins /minerals , fiber in capsules , not a healthier choice BUT I still get them .....

And it is not that much processed food bro - Whole wheat pasta and sometimes I use brown rice , is that bad sources of carb ?

whey protein , chicken breast , low fat cottage cheese , low fat slices of turkey breast , are those bad sources of protein ?

Oh really ? It is all crap ?

1) So we don't need fiber at all ? Fiber is worthless right ?

2)Egg whites are not good right ? their absorption rate is sooooo horrible , what a horrible source of protein .

3) We also don't need a minimum amount of fat on our diet ? You can use 0 g fat per day and it is all good , right ?

4) And before going to bed we should NOT use a slow digesting form of protein , is that it ? Take whey protein that digests in 2 hours and it is all good .

Is that it ?

This is what i go by. If MY Diet is working FOR ME, then why should i change it? Get yourself a good BF% Scale so you can make sure you are loosing BF instead of Muscle and u should be good.

Here is what I didn't like:

You weren't eating enough fat before. Now you've bumped it up and you're still not eating anywhere near enough (unless your whole diet consists of ~1000 cals). Fats (mostly good fats, but yes some saturated fats are good in small quantities) should compose 20-30% of your total calories.

Fats are good for hormone production and functioning. Fat will not make you fat as so many people on this site love to believe.

No food is a "must".

Whey is not optimal before bed, totally agree. Losing muscle after 2 hours of sleeping? Ummmm, no.

That doesn't help much, does it?

I will come back to your diet bro, just now I'm a bit tired... but yes, dieting is a never ending cycle. At best you might have the "perfect" diet for max 8-12 weeks... when you will normally have to tweak it again to continue toward your goal... Make sure you keep track of all the changes so that you don't make the same "mistakes" twice (I have 18 different diets which I have used during the past 10 months, all very similar, but a little change here another there)

lol, I know. And I apologize as that post was quite out of character for me.

However, this is the 2nd thread I've seen started by Victor where he talks about things like they are facts, when he is quite far off from the truth. This is the guy who said you HAD to train in a rep range of 10-12 (or maybe it was 8-12, can't remember) for hypertrophy to occur.

Now, he's saying you MUST eat egg whites, and you WILL lose muscle after 2 hours of sleeping if you consume whey pre-bed, and that you want fat in your diet (except he gives a completely low-balled amount). If you don't know what you're talking about that's fine...as long as you don't act like you do.
