When to work traps?

What days do you guys work your traps? Should I do them Chest/Deltoid/Triceps days, or Back/Biceps days?

If you're wondering why I don't have legs in there, it's because I have a nagging LCL injury.... I LOVE SQUATS! lol
 
Traps are part of your back and will get worked with most back exercises. Never made sense to me to do them with shoulders.

Can you do deads? You should be able to do at least rack deads from a higher position. Deads work traps pretty well.

I've been trying to do them on delt day but it just doesn't feel right. If your doing deads or rack pulls your already hammering your upper and lower traps so may as well add shrugs and finish em off on back day.

And if your not squatting try snatch grip rack pulls at middle knee or even just above the knee cap. Gives you the "back and traps" part of the deadlift without killing legs. It can be nice when there's a knee issue. Nothing gets at those traps especially the lower traps like a big heavy pull lift.

Also add close grip (thumbs out and touching) shrugs leaning over slightly fwd.
 
I think that there is a lot of overlap in muscle groups. I do trap after front and middle delts and before rear delts.

Yes there is alot of overlap and for those like me who mind fuck the split as it is its awful.

And my back - bi workout is soooo long I couldn't do traps too. I really have to focus on parts of back and my Bo's lag.
