What buffers lactic acid better - potassium citrate or sodium citrate?

I've been taking about 30 grams of sodium citrate in crystalline form a few hours before running and it really helps my performance. I can definetly feel a difference and am happy with the results. Only problem is that it sucks choking down the saline solution when I mix it in water. Tastes horrible.
I was wondering if potassium citrate would taste any better and if it would work just as well??? I don't want to switch if it won't work as a lactic acid buffer as well. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Hey Bro
I potassium load before ironman races starting 3 days out.. 4g/day. Works great but I've been told it's hard on system so I only do it for "A" races

Potassium Citrate works great take 1 spoonful an hour before the race.
Try it in training first to see how well you tolerate it.
You will be good to go Bro!!!
