What a Clean Diet Does....A Progress Report!

Nonerz said:
I like asparagus because it is a natural diuretic...although your pee will really smell!

I like corn if I'm not having any other carbs (probably not the best choice for cutting).

Green beans are great...hardly any calories and lots of bulk.

Ceebs inspired, I tried eating insane amounts of broccoli, which I really love, but it made me bloat reeeeeealy bad...not to mention the gas!

Spinach is great in (egg white) omeletes (add onion, mushroom, feta cheese, salsa).

Umm that egg white omelete sounds good but could I really have feta? I red and green pepper ok for this kind of diet?
Tried to send you more Karma but they wont let me got to spread it around.

A little feta is going to go a loooonng way. it's yummy in a salad too. I would lean more towards fats from avacados than from feta, personally, but that is me. :)

Good Veggies - (Nonerz listed most of them) asparagus, brocolli, green beans, peppers, celery, cucumbers, artichokes, lettuces. I don't limit my amounts of green veggies. They are so few calories and so fiber dense usually. Especially beans and brocolli.

Use things like corn in moderation - corn is a little sugary for a veggie. So are tomatoes, but I love them :).

Wow, just finished reading all the posts here, tons of great info from all!

DaisyGirl... awesome transformation :) your hard work and deadication shows through, as it has been said you are an inspiration :D

I am looking for a suitable diet... I was going to do the natty PB diet, and I tried it...for one day, that's all it took me to realize eating nothing but PB for 12 weeks (even for 2 weeks) would make me insane. I want to keep the muscle that I have of course but lose the fat...I got lots of ideas from these posts! thanks all :)

Hello, been reading all the posts, was wondering what kind of protein posder you used or was it a MRP? You look Great, I was did a NPC figure show 2 years ago and got down to 14% BF. I'm back up to prob. 21% and want to start training again for a show in May, this time a natural show. I used Whey protein, was curious to see what you used. I have a hard time finding one that doesn't make me bloated.

Wow!! How have I missed this?? That's AWESOME daisy!! Completely awesome. I think it's great that you shared too because there's not a magic pill or a quick fix-- but you're a poster-child for what hard work and dedication to diet and training can do! Congrats!

Awesome post! This should be a great motivation for anyone trying to get their eating habits together.

And just think....you may have saved a lot of people TONS of cash by showing you don't need supplements to lose weight!

I DID use some supplements - just not AAS. It would have been very possible not to use any Protein, it's just that my schedule makes that impossible. I had to rely on a Protein supplement for a couple meals a day.
