2 increase my bench i set the cathch bar at 15 and do bench half way to get used to more weight nad keep taking the bar down till you get down to a normal bench
 
i think i might try this. I'm really weak up top. i've been stuck at the same bench weight since i started lifting :(
What are some good exersises to take the place of the bench press on chest day?
 
I'm going thru the same thing.I got stuck at 225 on bench and my shoulder was starting to bother me,so quit benching about 2 months ago.I do incline,flat and some decline DB now for chest.At the same time I started doing deads and squats.WOW,I see now why they call them deads cause thats how I felt for the first 2 wks I did them.I'm up to 325x4 in my max working sets,and now I love to hate em.Squats not going as well,the fitness center I belong to has no rack only the SM and its uncomfertable as hell.I'll keep working at it tho ,my form may be off.I was doing hacks and leg presses before.Big difference in the squats.

is saying works I cant wait to see where my bench goes when I go back to it in a couple months.
 
i dont know how you guys start off so high on deadlifting. Im new to deadlifting too and i have trouble doing 135 for 10. maybe its a form thing?
 
some people naturally have stronger cores audiophyle, dont worry about it, just concentrate on where your going, not where you began. It all comes with time and persistance.
 
when is the best time to do deadlifts....before work out or after. Let say if i'm on a shoulder day...should i just do shoulders first or deadlifts.

also... what is the proper form for deadlifts. I never knew deadlifts and squats can be good to increase the bench.

I swear they have helped build a bigger bench for me,as well as some serious mass, if you dont do these lifts, im sorry to dissapoint you but, well.. your not gonna grow much if at all, besides..who wants big ass arms and skinny ass legs.. heh not me!!

You non dedicated people can keep your walker arms!!
