Tricep injection

Shot tricep for the first time and at the end of the shot I aspirated and blood entered the syringe. Then when I pulled out I was leaking like a stuck pig. I did aspirate before injecting. Would I know right away if I hit a vein? Thank in advance.

What do you think? It's kida ass backwards to ask us why you're bleeding - when you're bleeding. Next time move it the jab a 1/4-inch over.

triceps are NOT an ideal to be injecting whatsoever

Yes like you said yourself you aspirated and blood came into the syringe so you indeed hit a vein.

Triceps are pretty tricky area so perhaps consider using some other spot.
