What advice could you give to a bodybuilder that is on a low carb diet and is at the bodyfat percentage that he needs to be at and is approaching his final week before his first comp?

What advice would you give him with regards to carb loading / depletion and water?

I know that everyone is different so what Im after is a general guide that will help someone that doesnt really have a clue. (Like me!!)
 
Ok Im currently 196lbs at 5ft 10in

My diet is basically like this

2 days at 250g carbs, 250g protein
2 days at 120g carbs, 250g protein
2 days at 60g carbs, 250g protein
1 day spike

I drink about 7 litres of water per day.
 
the final week i would do this. ok say the show is on sat. starting now i would drink 2 gallons or more of water a day.
mon- 2 gallon of water, 0 carbs
tue-2 gallons of water, 0 carbs
wed- 1.5 gallons of water, 0 carbs
thur- 1 gallon of water, carb load( atleast a half a potote every 2 hours or 1/2 cup of oatmeal
fri- 1/2 gallon of water in the morning, carb load
sat- carb load, no water, i would slowly start to hit up some sugary candy all day to bring out vascularity

I know that the results will vary from person to person but as Ive never done this before I needed a base to start from. All I can do is see how I go on this and then review the results afterwards!
