The Walking Dead **spoilers**

It's a long shot, but I read this in the comments on TWD's FB page....

Someone said they think carol found lori's body, took the placenta and shit out (hence her knife being found), and took lori to safety. Reason this doesn't sound COMPLETELY crazy: no remains of Lori were found. There's always a body/skeleton. That walker looked full but he didn't eat the bones and shit.

AND the blood trail suddenly stops like Lori was picked up which brings us back to the carol possibility. And the phone call is carol from another part of the prison.
(this is all some dude's guess on their FB page)

Like I said, a long shot, but hmmmmm..

The phone call has to do with the comics they just brought it in early if thy stick with what they did with the comic. If Lori alive I think I'm done with the show. Even if Carl didn't shoot her she would have died from blood loss after the hack job c section even if carol found her.

I'm happy thy kept the gifts in at Woodbury.

Lets tke a poll who thinks it would be better if he baby lives or if the baby dies. And I'm not saying this to be an ass. But no mom limited formula. The kid won't make it.

Yay, I was about to send out my bat signal for you to chime in lol

Remember I was against the kid from the beginning. Crying = walker bait

But if it's 'the messiah' then that calls for it living. Ugh

I thought the show had strayed away from the comics?

It was my interpretation that the walker Rick went ape shit on had a belly full of Lori.

ok that makes fucking sense, i was wondering what the shit that was all about. When i saw the blood trail at first i figured lori had turned but carl had somehow crippled her so she could only slither off. But then i was like even for a biter, Lori's lookin kinda rough...who the shit is that and why does Rick have a giant boner for it? So if the walker ate Lori how could she even remotely be alive? The previews for next week show Rick talking on the phone saying "we're dying down here"....so that leads me to beleive it's the gubment calling or something to that effect. The whole walker gladiator pit thing was stupid as hell too. Show goes from reeling me in again to what in the shit is this now? Governor combing his walker daughters hair was both hilarious and sad as shit.

But see, no one knows they're there, so how could it NOT be someone from the group?
And the blood trail suddenly stops, meaning she got up or was picked up, and when was the last time we saw a walker pick someone up and carry them? And...if she was eaten...where are her bones?
I feel like Dane Cook when he was talking about how he is with Lost; "What the fuck is going on? I have sixteen new questions and no god damn answers."

And yeah lol I was half laughing and half 'what the fuck?'-ing during the combing scene

I feel like the gov is using the doc to perform experiments to find a way to cure his daughter..

AND I WANNA KNOW WHAT THE HELL THE FUCKING TEA DOES

It's very off the reservation now hey re just growing little things in like fight, the gobs daughter, the TVs full of heads and the phone. But nothing that has any major impact on the actual story.

In the comics the phone is a big deal but it is a very isolated setting and it makes a lot more sense.

i figured people were just trying to dial into the prison at random.....not sure how anyone would know the number of that phone no matter if someone came to get lori or not. If they make Lori alive I'm over it.

I was reading that in the comics the phone call is really Rick "hallucinating" as a way to deal with Lori's death. Psizzle got me on the facebook page for TWD and everyone was speculating if Lori was still alive but then said the director confirmed it on the Talking Dead last night that she was really dead. IDK...I'm still stuck with the whole where are the bones thing too...maybe that's part of the mystery! They were also saying it was Carol's knife that Rick found where Lori's body was supposed to be??

It's the knife Maggie used to cut her open she dropped it. And your right in the comic Rick did find a phone that was "ringing" and it was Lori on the other end and he talked with her for a while because he was nuts. It's part of his transition as a guy who doesn't want to lead to a guy with nothing to lose and a badass. My biggest issue is the phone didn't come into play until more than two months after they were gone from the prison. If they are gonna jam this much I to a season. This show only has one left cause Kirkma does not have much left to write for the comics IMO

I don't expect to learn much from Talking Dead, they're not gonna give stuff away...plus I can't stand the little Seacrest fag that hosts honestly, I usually record it and skim through it (it's more than half commercials seems like)

I think I'm the only one sad about Lori dying lol maybe that's why I'm all about the possibility she made it. WHERE ARE HER BONES THOUGH?? that's the main mystery!

Thanks for clarifying the knife part! I might have to get the comics. Sounds like it would be worth the investment.

That made me literally LOL!! I've only watched it once, after Lori and T Dog died. Usually skip it!

The previews Darryl said 'that's carols knife' ...strategic editing to throw us off?

I get so mad at the callers. They ask the most bogus fucking questions
"Hey, um, I was wondering, what do you keep the thermostat at when filming?"
...I mean really. Ask something we all want to know. ugh

Either that or they messed up filming cause Maggie never picked her knife up after she cuts open Lori.

To Cali
Get the comics it's about 50 bucks to get up to this point in te comics if you go from the beginning and if you ask sizzle who started reading it it is very worth it. A they are releasing a collection if the first 100 issues soon but if you can get tem digitally do it through the comixolgy app they have them all or you can go to comixolgy.com and download and read them online.

Thanks, I'll do that!! and be back to let you know my thoughts!

I know I'm getting way too involved in the show and over thinking it all. Maybe I just need to focus on the awesome zombie kills! LOL

yeah talking dead (which I have also only ever watched after the walker was found with the big belly) said that Lori's hair and crap were all on the walkers face...he ate her

and I interpreted the phone ringing as Rick hallucinating..but that's my own weird take on my own weird experiences with death

We've already discussed this and so did the director, that wasn't Lori, it was the walker that supposedly ate her

A walker could have easily taken a chunk of someone's hair and they got away, not saying this is true but it's not 100% sure that he ate her dammit, regardless of what the talking dead says, they're not gonna say exactly what happened, WHERE ARE HER FUCKING BONES unless carol found her and took her body so they could bury her properly...

Just waiting til Sunday lol

And the later issue blew my mind. No spoilers but if anyone hates Carl. Think twice...
Eh i don't really hate him, just think the kid who plays him kinda sucks. Like the kid who played young anakin in the newer star wars. TERRIBLE

Comic books are for faggots and sailors

If what you mean by close is totally not even by any stretch of the imagination accurate to the comics then sure lol

Michonne shows up at the prison by herself with her two dead buddies.

Andrea never gets "lost" after the herd over runs the farm.

Rick michone and glen find Woodbury because if the downed copter.

And dale is still alive at the prison.

As I said the comics> show.

Yeah as I've said I left off at 007 and can already tell it's night/day

If you have a comic store around you can get them amazon sells them. Buy the collections of them though. It's 7 or so I sues per collection. And the collections go up to issue 95 right now. If you have ani pad you can get the comixology app and buy and read them there. O you can go to comixology.com and buy and read them on your comp. but def buy the collections cause once you start you won't stop.

It has taken me 3 fucking weeks (starting from season 2) of watching an episode or two per day to FINALLY get caught up on this show...lol.

Yes, every question answered seems to create two more, but I FUCKING LOVE IT! I'm just happy I can finally join the conversation since I'm up to date. Now I can't wait to watch tomorrow.

My opinion right now, is that I don't really care who is alive or dead that is still in question somewhat (Lori or Carol), but they better not touch Daryl. That guy is awesome. Id love to drink beer with him. As for the baby, I think it has to continue to live to make the series better. Its like having a new piece of innocence and hope for humanity.

That is all....until Sunday!

Th baby can't live... It is not even feasible for th story o continue in any logical sense if the baby lives. Not that I hate babies it just does not wok.

Maybe its just my wishful thinking to bring some positive balance to things, but I see your point on it. I'm definitely interested in seeing how it plays out.

Does anybody know how many more episodes there will be before the agonizing mid season break?

They are going ten then break then ten more. It would be nice if there was a big positive. But the whole story has little positives to push the characters just a little but further.

Thanks for the info, and now that you put it that way it does make more sense with there being little positives. Its been the story of the entire series and needs to continue that way

I really think I was the only one who liked Lori lol

Glad you're caught up, Rick :-)
It's bittersweet though, you're used to being able to watch episode after episode like I was, waiting SUCKS!!

No kidding. Watched the last episode yesterday, and already sucks that I don't have one to watch today since I've been used to it

What a whore
Right? I said that out loud. I'm over her throwing her cat at everybody

Aside from that...

- wow, so the phone call was a manifestation afterall
- dammit glen, why couldn't you be less of a good trusting guy and just take Merle out?
- right on michonne, goin all Arnold from Predator/Rick and Glen from season one

Now I wonder if they will go to weirdbury and rescue glen and maggie?

I've realized Maggie is hot btw

Yeah Rick and deryl go. If the use glen like n the omits thy make him think they are torturing Maggie. In the omits it was michonne he escapes and leads them back to the prison. Rick has to go to Woodbury cues things happen.

I also realized maggie is hot. I was sitting in the ouch with my fiancé and I said out loud wow she's hot when did that happen.

It's interesting they have no agriculture in Newberry and nobody questions it; Common sense would dictate foraging isn't a sustainable lifestyle for a community of their size.

UGHHHHGGHHGJHJH

I freakin knew they'd end it like that...sons of bitches

Where's mstiles at? I have an important question:

Remember season one when Rick and glen put the zombie entrails on themselves to go downtown and retrieve the guns? They said make sure you don't get any in your eyes or mouth. Well, last episode when michonne went ninja in the woods and cut up that walker's stomach, all his innards fell on her, getting in her mouth and eyes. AND when she was at the fence looking at Rick, she put her hand on her gunshot wound, and she HAD to have zombie blood on that hand, so it must've gotten into the wound. What gives?

It's called bad writing and a huge plot hole lol.
I'm beyond frustrated with this whole thing. Rick and Daryl and michonne are gonna storm Woodbury cause that makes any sense. It woulda made more sense to at least carry along the comics role. Let glen escape to lead them back to the prison and hold Maggie save her later.

I'm re reading the comics because its just better. And I swear if Rick doesn't lose a hand I quit.

Oh and what happened to Maggie is going to seriously fuck up the relationship development between her and glen down the road.

Well that's sad. Understandable but sad. I'm a fan of them, glen has always been a favorite of mine. But yeah that whole 'WTF I KNOW they just got some zombie shit in their eyes/mouth' thing has really been bugging me

I was hoping the mr coleman guy would attack the stupid doctor. And I'm over Andrea and the governor

How many seasons do you think they'll do? After next week's episode I'll pick the comics back up.

So might sound like a stupid question but I missed an episode , who was the chick that returned on last nights show ? Was that the baby's mother? I forgot who she was. Can't wait for next weeks episode

No not the black chick , the chick that showed back up in the prison at the end of the show she was holding the baby she had the short hair

Dew that is carol part of he group but not the babies mom

Sizzle
There is a lot of source material left about fifty comics worth however the action slows down. And there are story arcs they can't do simply because the characters aren't in the show. I would say one more to tops. Once thy reach the town near dc. You get another governor situation with this guy negan. But it hasn't been finished yet.

For anybody that seen the talking dead last week, im sure you seen the sneak peek of Michonne discovering the governors daughter with the bag over her head. Obviously at this point Michonne thinks that she discovered a child locked away, and not a walker. The sneak peek ends just as she is about to take the bag off of her head, so I'm very interested in seeing what michonnes response will be to her. Knowing her demeanor, I would say she would behead her

This is what i've been complaining about since about midway through season two. The plot holes in this thing are just opening up everywhere. Honestly the show has already jumped the shark. I had a glimmer of hope at the beginning of this season with some solid episodic content but now i can feel myself getting all "meh" again. The only reason i'm still even halfway in this is because of the magnificence of season 1. The whole phone call thing with Rick is really bothering me. I have zero idea still what the shit that was.

The phone call symbolizes a slip in ricks sanity. In The comic it happens months after they leave the prison and Rick and Carl are alone. It's Lori on the phone telling him to push on. It doesn't work in the show cause Lori dies and he automatically snaps without time to process the whole thing. They basically zeroed out Rick for two episodes after it happened.

so who was the dude on the phone? who were "they" that the guy and lori was talking about? was lori the first woman Rick talked to on the phone? What was all that talk from the first woman about a place that was safe and making random calls....was it just in Ricks head then? I don't get it. It's completely come off as just something that occurred. There's no reason for that to have been in the show even if it happened in the comics. They just don't really know what they're doing and that's a shame. First season went off so good that this is really eye opening.

alright im just gonna lay out what the phone was in the comic and you will understand the "point " of the phone, but i completely agree the phone does not belong in the show whatsoever.

Comic scenario:
Govenor over ran the prison, rick and his group fight them off but the fences go down and the ultimately have to flee, lori carrying the baby gets cut down in the fight, Rick notices but grabs carl and runs like hell.
Andrea, dale, glen, maggie, the twins are all back at hershels farm.
The group is split up and carl and rick are alone with just a bag of provisions between them.
They wander into a neighborhood and find a house that is relatively safe by standards of the time.
Rick at this point has, lost his hand, been shot at and is on the run, at the house rick falls into a fever and passes out for days, carl watches over him with a gun pointed at him.

Carl nurses his dad back to health, but rick does not seem quite right, he hears the phone ring

rick and the people on the phone talk, the show literally lifted the dialogue verbatim from the comic, except for the whole part where rick gets on the phone for a third time and he asks who it is since it is someone different and its lori. this leads to rick carrying around the phone and talking to lori who is just a manifestation of his slipping sanity.

Its actually a very effectual plot device in the comic due to the isolation of carl and rick at the time, and the fact they are living on the edge of death, and it resolves itself later on, but in the show it had absolutely no place, just the writers trying to shoehorn in a piece of the comic in order to make the comic fans feel better, they are honestly falling so short on how awesome this season could have been.

The govenor was such a badass in the comic that kirkman went and wrote a whole novel about the guy

Season 3 marathon leading up to mid season finale starts at 2:00 pm EST on AMC; For those that missed episodes or want to watch them again.

So, what was the logic of leaving all the kids back at the prison with the pervert convict and the lady who keeps almost dying?

one thing i don't understand is that from season 1 you saw all these military outposts that got abandoned/overrun. You'd think there'd be some major military hardware lying around out there just waitin to be looted. Jus sayin

It's addressed in the comic. Woodbury is five miles from a base.
