The 300 workout as a cardio session?

Thoughts? I hate cardio. I was wondering what would happen if I did a high volume workout with little weight like the 300 workout would that be good for cardio. It at least sounds interesting and like fun. Here's what it is:

25 pullups
50 deadlifts with 135
50 pushups
50 box jumps on 2ft box
50 floor wipers while holding 135 on the ground
50 single arm clean and jerk with 36 kettlebell ( I would use a DB)
25 pullups

Someone in great shape should be able to finish this in 20 minutes with great form. I was thinking this followed by normal cardio and calling it as my seeion.

I am afraid though if this will interfere with my normal training days, but I recover better than most.

Crossfit has a workout called the "Filthy Fifty".

For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

This type of workout is great for cardio. I don't think you will need to follow it by anything. It shouldn't interfere with your other workouts. There may be a couple of sore spots the next day depending on your weaknesses but the guys who did it here didn't have any issues. The jumping pullups were surprisingly hard. Normally it's followed by a rest day.

That's good shit right there. Way better than "cardio". I do these types of workouts a couple of times a week. You will have the lungs of a thoroughbred in no time. Trust me.

As an overall body composition workout....the kettlebell rules...it will make you very strong, very fast...and with the additional plyometrics, pushups, etc...you're cardio will be handled..and your body will CHANGE....

Good luck

my best time on that 300 workout was 18:05...you can get very good at it if you do it once a week alongside your current training, so i probably do it once every 2 weeks in between a heavy bag workout. dont make it a staple of your workout, but it does provide good cardio
