stupid question..ladies help me out

i was talking to my friend last night and told him i was going the high protein low carb diet..b/c the results will be so much better when u work out plus have a clean diet..he says i shouldnt do that b/c i can actually gain weight from the protein is this true?? my goals r really just to get very tight n trimmed..im 5'2 115 lbs 20 female..my protein intake is 108 please any input would be appreciated;) xoox thnx
 
I had a guy tell me the same thing one night at work (I'm a bartender). I'm 130 pounds and get about 120-140g of protein a day. Of course he was a fitness/bb expert!( *wink wink* he was chugging on his 5th glass of Amberbock and sucking down a basket of potato crisps as he told me what I "should be doing").

I have men all the time trying to give me "advice" and telling me that "women don't look good with musles". Whatever! Funny thing is..their girlfriends/wives are coming up to me later and asking ME for advice. I've learned not to listen to just anyone..I do my research instead!
 
lol thats a funny story shoo girl..yeah i figured he didint know what he was talking about..he still didnt understand that all i wanted to do was get toned..he thinks i wanna be sum monster or sumthing..but i really think hes afraid of me being stronger than him haha:D
