Stretch Marks!!?!?!?

Since I had my daughter (3rd baby) I now have stretch marks on the front of my tummy (lower abs). They are disgusting,I never had these with my sons and did nothing different other than the fact that I lost alot of weight before I got pregnant with her and the years between my youngest son and my daughter is like 7 yrs, I hide my tummy b/c it's ugly to look at. I've seen worse but for me this is something I'm having a hard time dealing with. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is there anything I can do?????

maybe try putting cocoa butter on your tummy...i have had 3 kids as well..i have stretch marks in hidden spots thank god..although i do have some stretched skin on my lower tummy that is being a bitch to rid of....like i said try cocoa butter it wont rid of them but the cream will help then not be so bad

I do use cocoa butter all over b/c I have dry skin and it works so well. I also use some aloe as well. I will have to maybe double up on it on my tummy. It's not that bad and not obvious unless you are close up to me butttttttt non the less I know it's there and it bugs the hell out of me. My biggest fear is that I will tone up and look great and have this nasty skin on my lower abs that I can do nothing about but hide it. Oh the joys of being a woman :verygood: LOL.

I'm going to apply it 3xdaily and I'll let you know how it does. Lazer I wish I had the money for that, but right now things are tight. The story of my life. LOL

Let me just say AMEN SISTER!!! I like my breast (although they could be a bit more perkey,LOL) I'm a D cup I have grown one size since I started lifting. I thought I would lose them but I'm not complaining.LOL I think once I lose more weight I will lose some. My biggest problem areas are my lower tummy and my thighs and butt. I seem to carry my weight there. Sux really bad. I'm aiming for a size 7 I'm at a 9/10 now, I will get there I swear I will. LOL

Regarding the cocoa butter, I believe it may help prevent stretch marks, but I cant see how it could remediate them at all. Remember a stretch mark is really nothing more than a tear in the dermis layer of your skin and I'm not sure cocoa butter can even penetrate that far which would be neccesary to prevent tearing.

If your stretch marks are still red I know Mederma helps. It's pretty well known stuff. I'm surprised you didnt mention it.

Some are still red and some aren't. I forgot all about mederma. Thanks for the reminder.
