Some pics from today....

How heavy was your stone man?

Give yourself credit...always.

I think the plans for that stone that my buddies had said like 120-140 lbs, but I stepped on the scale with it and it was just over a 100 lbs. Way different than 100 lb dumbell or barbell though...way different.

Yea and thanks again for those plans for the farmers walk. Everyone is jealous of them, lol. Can't weight to add weight next week! Also gonna try them for heavy static holds soon.

I have a 185 you would love to play with!!!

You can use the Farmers Deadlift as a ME exercise if you like...just for variation.

IRBD, I envy you, man. Very nice setup you've got. Strong too!

One suggestion on the atlas stone: Turn your belt around so that the buckle is in the front and then make a little loop with the unused part of the belt (e.g. don't tuck the free part all the way into the loop) so that your belt has got a little "belly" in front of your stomach. When you initially deadlift the stone into your lap, this protrusion on your belt will then act as a support under the stone when you shoot it upwards with your hips. Trust me, this makes a huge difference, especially when the weight becomes very heavy.

Hope this makes sense...
