Soda's While On A Diet ????

Just wanted to know if anybody still drinks soda's while on their diet?Like coke, sprite etc....any carbonated drink THANKS

absolutely not. wayy too much sugar, very unhealthy and counteracts the reason for the diet in the first place. am in precontest phase at the moment and if i drink a diet soda, immediately after i can see my body a bit bloated. stay away bro. pound the water like its going out of style... if u get bored with just water, cut up some lemons or limes and squeeze them in your jug of water... crystal light is the shiiiiiiiit too.

I'm guilty. I dont drink ANY soda normally. But on my 35 minute drive I have to make every mon, tues, thurs, I stop and get a 20 oz bottle of A&W. That shit is the best. Usually twice a week. Never more than 3 times. I dont think 2-3 sodas In a week is going to kill my diet. Now ofcourse I know it would be better without it. But I'm trying to diet from 20-21% down to 7-8%. I'm only 3 days in right now.
But thats about my only vice. The only other crap carbs I have is in the 1 cup of O.J. I drink pre w/o because I have to mix my cissus powder in something and thats the only thing that makes it pallatable.
I also drink 2-3 shakes a day. Those consist of 1 scoop of either casein or whey depending on if its post w/o or not, along with 1 cup of liquid egg whites and 1 cup of 1% milk.

So on a daily basis its 1 cup of OJ and 2-3 cups of milk. Eventually I will drop the milk. I'm running about 800cal below what would even be considered a normal cutting diet for my numbers so I think I'll be fine for a little while.

I used to be a huge soda drinker in my early teens. I then switched over to diet soda thinking less sugar would help. I found the diet to be much better on my stomach (in terms of that gut-rot feeling) but I still had a bloated stomach almost always. Once I cut out soda completely and replaced it with water my stomach bloat is gone completely.

i think you can also make some natural tea like green tea add esplenda or some other sugar substitute put it in the fridge and you are good to go.

bout zero calorie diet sodas?

worse for you then real ones.
look man hve one or 2 a week and limit it to that.
its bad for you thats that.
you need a sugar fix eat soem fruit or even blend up some fruits.
even pure fruit juice would eb better then any pops.

even bulking i dont dink much of it.

here is a great video to wach, its logn but it prob will change your view on things:

I only drink soda occasionally if i'm really thirsty but most of the time i like to drink water... I guess you can drink but not that much and not that often because it contains lots of sugar and therefore not good for your body..
