Sleep questions (when to do to bed and wake up)?

Well, summer's hear, so that means all the sleep I want!

Problem though (or not?).

I go to bed every night around mid night, sometimes a little later. But I've been waking up anywhere from 10am - 12pm.

Anything wrong with that, or is better to wake up earlier. Seems like I could eat more that way too.

What time do most of you go to bed and wake up?
 
Well when you grow up and have to work your job dictates your schedule. So you sleep when you can. It seems as if you have alot of time on your hands, so I would wake up and eat then go back to sleep.
 
Bed by 10 up at 6 for work. I feel better keeping a schedule and getting up earlier once start doing it but some of that is getting out and getting to work other than difficult workout after long physical day but helping with fat loss. That's a lot of sleep tho you doing that everyday? Lol I would feel more tired if do that for more than a day in a row.

Im in the same boat man. I noticed if I get 12+ hours of sleep I dont lift as heavy that day. I recover better with more sleep though I feel like.
 
I think the best time for going to bed is 11 P.M. & should wake up between 6 to 7 A.M. In this you will have a better schedule and better diet for your body.
 
if you are bodybuilding the best way to get sleep would be 7-8 hours at night and then a 1 hour nap during the day (preferably after your morning workout)

otherwise get a solid 8 hours and you will be good. the way we evolved is we would go to sleep after sunset to hide from predators in our caves and then wake up before sunrise to get a jump on looking for food or tending to crops. this was what humans did for millions of years so you aren't gonna be able to over turn that no matter what you say

keep in mind our ancestors busted their asses all day to survive.. today we sit on our asses for the most part and spend our evenings in front of the tv watching american idol. so its different and not healthy to get TOO MUCH sleep. so to the OP sleeping in till 12 is unhealthy and will catch up to you. so get a gym membership and get up earlier and hit the gym. THEN come home and eat.. then take a nap. you will grow like a weed all summer if you do that
