Save me from chicken

Hi Everyone,

I'm in a real tough spot with chicken. I just can't seem to stomach it anymore. My diet WAS as follows
roughly 1600 calories on weight days
roughly 1400 on non-weight days

oatmeal and biotest protein, or toast and all nat. peanut butter (I love!)
chicken and 1/2 pita, and udo's
chicken and yams
chicken and spinach
chicken and steamed veggies
biotest protein and lowfat pudding mix

OK-so the overdose of chicken was effective, I lost 20 lbs in 7 weeks. I have 30 lbs to go, and I honestly can't stomach it anymore....

I have no probs with protein shakes or meal replacement shakes, and some beef/steak, etc.

I know I'm being picky, but I can't even get the food down.

Can anyone recommend any bars? Or can I replace 2 of those meals with protein shakes? It's tough. I know I may compromise my progress, but right now, I'm just wanting to cheat and can't eat the food.

I know there are some great recipes on here, you should check those out.
Also, do you like fish? It's a great alternative!
I don't see anything wrong with 2 shakes a day. I usually drink two a day!

How about tuna, salmon or tilapia?? Are you competing?? If not, how about pork? Or turkey breast or even ground turkey breast??
 
i get shady brooks farms turkey..i rarely used chic this year..and dont miss it a bit..lower fat too.

I'm going to go with the shakes between meals, and do some substitutions as was suggested with the main meals, and we'll see what happens.

Turkey Cutlets
Fish
Lean Pork
Lean Beef - Eye of Round is good
Ground Turkey
Lean Ground Beef (look for 96% Lean 4% Fat)
 
Mix it up girl....there are way to many options then just chicken.....I hate antelope last night...very lean and quite good
 
If you like fish, Cod is a really good one. It's a VERY mild whitefish. Just put it in a skillet with some cooking spray or olive oil, add a few spices, cover and it cooks really fast. It falls apart in the pan....YUM!

I also like BumbleBee Solid Albacore Steaks in the pouches. One pouch - a 4 oz serving - has 30-34 grams of protein depending on the flavor you get.

Chicken tends to do that to me too...make me feel like kaking sometimes. Good luck with whatever you choose.
 
Turkey is great--very different flavor than chicken and has natural tryptophan so if you eat a little at night..it helps relax you. Good job with the weightloss!
