Just wondering what groups you guys listen to while working out. My gym has started to play some soft rock shit and I'm gonna buy a couple CD's and burn them so I'll have decent music to listen to while working out. Any ideas?

dmx - it's dark and hell is hot
nin - downward spiral
inflames - clayman
metallica - all of their cds
acdc
tool
led zep.

Well this week i rotated , "System of the down", "Mudvayne", and " SlipKnot". I am a little extreme though. Jimmie Dean had Metallica all week i believe the "black" Cd. But a couple of days i took out my heavy music after we did our heavy liften , and i put in the "2001 Family Values Tour". Listen to some live music.

Other bands i like that arent real heavy are,
Nickelback, Staind, Linkin Park, Rage against the Machine, Godsmack, POD, , Disturbed,Shit there a bunch ou tthere right now. There is one and i have been sittin here tryng to think of their name And i just cant. It starts with a D that i do know! Oh well those are my picks. I listen to old stuff too. No rap though! It doesnt pysche me up anyway. BUt i have more just am having a block right now.

Powerlifterjay-not only do we have the same "drinking" habits, and very similar training routines, but we also listen to the same music. Too bad I dont have the same poundages you do lol.

My damned CD player broke the other day... but i'm a little qwerky. I listen to music that you guys have probably never heard of or wouldn't like, but it gets me pumped, even though it isn't really loud, hardcore, or angry.

I listen to Dispatch, Guster, and a lot of Dave. Dispatch and Guster are very similar to dave. Well it is more like Guster sounds like Dispatch, which sounds like dave.... yet, Guster doesn't really sound like dave.

I like Metallica and some Godsmack and some Staind, but they are not my favorite bands.

I like a lot of hardcore punk music (both new school and old)

some of my favorite bands at the moment

these are my three favorite bands at the moment...and the CDS are still in the CD player in the gym after 4 weeks
many others in the same vain.

but thats just what gets me going

Slayer Seasons in the Abyss
Megadeth live CD set
Rocky IV soudtrack
Debbie Gibson (joking!)
Iron Maiden
Guns and Roses Appetite

I don't listen to music when I workout. I read PL posts on the Internet between sets. Maybe that's my problem.
