question on anavar for my mom

ACE is accepted just like high carb low fat diets are accepted for most fat Americans.....so what does that tell you?

for anyone in the know...ace is a joke....always has been, if you want a certification that you feel has even a remote amout of respectability go with ACSM even though like i said before these peice of papers (certifications) mean nothing to me, i took the course for insurance purposes only.

now just cause someone has ACE doesnt mean he is a moron, most are but many are like me and just take the easy test so they are *accepted* among the clueless people who dont know better....its smart business to take ACE because its widely accepted, thats the ONLY reason I feel ANYONE should bother with that 5th grade level course.

I know MANY personal trainers including myself as well as TONS of gym owners (im gym rat so sue me lol) and ACE is the running joke among trainers...when we see a new trainer who looks like he or she has NO business being a trainer we go ....lemme guess he is "ACE certified" we use ACE as a punch line for jokes.... but like i said just because someone has ACE doesnt mean they are dopes, they are either smart businessmen like myself or like the rest, dont know better. some of you may feel ACE is good, i have no idea why, its just your basic generic easy course in my opinion..........try taking ACSM a 5 day classroom course and hands on, or even ISSA for that matter...when i saw the test..45 essay questions i looked at Fred Hatfield (Dr. Sqaut) and said "you are kidding me right"

bottom line is i would NEVER have taken ACE if it wasnt so widely known and accepted ( for the wrong reasons).

do u know ive talked to some gym owners(idiots) and they wont higher you if u DONT have ACE...i knew people who had ACSM and they got turned down..thats OBSURD!!! i cant stand the fact that people are so clueless.

a 51 year old , sedentary women with kids on STEROIDS.........i thought i saw it all when i came to this board... now this.....

hey asshole, I am no kid first off, second I am 220 8% bf, and I am certified bsmi (baylor sports medicine institute) one of the well respected cert. in the industry. I might be a fresh graduate, yes this is true, what is with the flaming, youve been here a while, you know that shit is not welcome here!

you ignorant fuck!!

BUT... getting back to the point -- as with so may of the guys who come here asking questions about AS for their girlfriends, sisters or moms -- he's asking. The dumb question is the one doesn't get asked...

TOS -- I think you probably got the best suggestions you can get from this board right at the top of this post -- 40 lbs is a big number, but its not outrageous and diet & training will get you mom to a healthier place safer and with more reliable longer lasting results than AS. The quality of IP products has been the subject of a numbe of debates as far as consistent dosing, etc -- but when you're talking about your mom, you would want the most reliable, & best. But before going there, get the diet & other stuff in line first. You might also have your mom get a complete physical with regard to menopause -- in case hormone therapy or anything is in order.

My mom is 60 this year and both she & my dad walk 5 miles every day, regardless of the weather ( they live in the snowbound north). They also do step aerobics and resistance training at the local YMCA and have always ate pretty clean. Just like you are gettign your mom into -- good diet, consistent training & some cardio. Now just give it all a chance to do its work and be patient.
Miracles come from hard work.

If you want to educate yourself a little about women & AS, you can start by reading the stickies at the top of the board.

Good luck to your mom!

in my opinion (a lowly ISSA certified trainer LOL)

put her on GH!!! it does wonders for women and men over the age of 50 (not to mention all us youngins too)

there is a great site.. cenegenics...
http://www.888younger.com/

it goes into great discussion og gh on the human body.. and it has a section for post menapausal women on there as well as men and women over the age of 50!!!

the gh will help her to firstly feel "younger" will help her to lean out when combined with a great diet and workout program and gh alone on people her age will have effects without cycling in an anabolic steriod..

even a GH and T3 combo would work.. everything slows down as we get older and gh stops being produced even..

if she is set on an AS.. anavar is the mildest of them all.. BUT like spatterson said.. steroids do NOT lean you out..they will build muscle and in the process you can get leaner.. again with a CLEAN diet and weight training program :)

definitely do some more research and present her with every valuable option and weigh the decision accordingly..

once you decide to go with gear.. there is NO turning back

luv super

Enjoy your rant?

Judgemental much?

I was watching one of those cable tv fitness shows the other day, for all of the obvious guy reasons. I did happen to hear the comments of some of the individuals who were training, and they were complete morons.

They later said that they were all ACE certified.

Yes, I am judgemental.

Just because something is widely accepted does not mean that it is the best, or even worthwhile. Witness the popularity of AOL as an ISP despite its performance.
