If, due to an unforseen event, I miss a meal, do I have to make up for the macros during the day, i.e. have bigger meals or do I just miss the meal and therefore consume lower calories for the day?
You can try to make up for the meal-- basically push your regular meal schedule back to get the next meal in. But you also need to be careful of how you eat to make up for that meal, i.e. easy to throw junk in just to get the meal in.
I know it's a silly question but usually when I've had a busy day, I don't think about food at all, and you're right, I would then overdose on junk. But now I'm conscious of everything that goes in my mouth. I'm overanalysing, I guess.
