Sweetheart...I know exactly how it feels to not sleep. OMG! Yuck! I have had insomnia since I was a child and Im 27 now...if all else fails go to your doc and ask for Ambien. That should work. But try Melatonin or Gaba first. They help for some. Good luck!

Yep, Ambien does work......saw a commercial for a new Scrip sleep aid called "Lunesta" that is for those who have trouble falling asleep due to "mind issues." It says in the commercial that it's approved for long term use.....

I would try the OTC stuff 1st & ask about scrips as a last resort....

My Doc told me she was going to put me on that new med. She was waiting for it to come out. Must be out now. Yeah!! Ambien eventually does not work if you build a tolerance to it. Yikes!

My brother used to take Ambien all the time, he gave me one once when I was traveling w/my youngest and wasn't sleeping much. I had the best sleep ever and woke up refreshed. I might look into ambien if all else fails.

I have been taking Ambien for 3+ years now due to my crazy work schedule and time changes associated with it, as well as my crazy life. It still works for me well, and I wake up wide awake. I know it says its only for short term use, but my doc says as long as it works to keep taking it.

you haven't built up a tolerance to it? is it a 7 hr. cycle, thats what my brother said.
