what do you mean by 'two a days six days a week'?! bit confused there mate.
when you say a 'good cycle', would you class what I am on as a good enough cycle to train intensely?
Yes two a days means to workout twice a day. Gee I thought everybody knew that but it just goes to show what I think doesn't matter much.
As for your cycle lets break it down and look at the numbers.
100mg test prop every other day so that comes out to about 350mg per week. In my opinion that's at the weak end of a cycle. But it's only your second time so let's leave it it be. As for the 70mg var. Well I'm sure there are people that say it a great drug but it didn't do much for me. So my opinion of the cycle is it's probably ok for your second time. You might want to bump up the prop but I don't know your stats so just keep doing what you are doing.
On the subject of over training. I think that of all the people that say they are over training maybe one percent actually are and about 70 percent have a poor diet and the rest just don't like to work.
When you are on gear all the rules are on hold and you train balls to the walls and eat your ass off. I forget the movie title but it's got Arnold and all the old guys from Gold's going out to eat. They all have two steaks and a bunch of eggs and enough food to feed a tribe of refugees from Darfur. That's how you eat. But if you are not on gear there are other ways to see if you are over training. The best way is to check your blood pressure every time you wake up. Keep a log. If your waking blood pressure starts to climb while not on gear you are starting to over train. If and or when that happens drop a set or two from each exercise. When your blood pressure gets back to normal push down on the gas again. You aren't going to change your body unless you are driving it to do more then it wants. It's the last couple of reps at the last set that makes you grow. everything else was preparation.
The problem is most guys that over train wait until they are totally exhausted before they slow down. At this point they are in trouble. They have to stop completely and then they start losing muscle, sometimes a lot of muscle. In my opinion this is dumb. You train to the point that you fall apart and lose everything you gained? That's dumb.
So to sum up don't worry about over training. Do worry about your diet. Remember your body needs carbs and fats. You can't grow properly on protein alone.
I'll share with you one of my favorite meals:
Take a handful of frozen blueberries and put then in a bowl and microwave them until hot ( set on reheat )
Then add cottage cheese to the blueberries with some splenda and nuke it on reheat.
cook up some oatmeal. after it's cooked add a bunch of egg whites ( I get mine from egg whites international )
Cook the egg whites in the oat meal.
Then mix the egg white oat meal mixture into the blueberry and cottage cheese mixture. Get a spoon and eat it. Everything a growing boy needs. Protein, carbs and flavonoids and it doesn't taste like wallpaper paste.
There you're all set now go sweat out a couple of shirts.
